Decide later to seat Christianity in Rome

It’s not fuckin rocket science, when you are exploring the past, it is most likely that the most reasonable decision for the people in power is probably the truth of the story, and not what they want you to believe in order to establish their religious/military authority.

And besides, if he doesn’t die a martyr, how can he be worshiped as one later? And in nay case, Jesus needed to return to heaven so Christianity could establish it’s moral authority here on Earth, so if anything, The Romans or whoever killed him did him a favor, albeit without meaning to. We know now that murdering public figures is almost always ineffective for change, which is why you don’t see things like crucifixions anymore. Nothing dramatic for dissidents, about as bad as it gets now is the electric chair, and even then, states find the bill costs more than if you filled someone with Potassium Chloride, which I believe is the current execution cocktail of choice. Oh yeah, I forgot, we hanged Saddam. The last real string of violent murders was done by the people who do them best: Angry, unintelligent, ignorant, white Christians.
